MD Sharfaraz Khan

Hello, I'm Sharfaraz. I moved from Bangladesh to pursue my dreams in Fashion design. Growing up in a prevailing conservative mindset country ​studying fashion design felt like climbing the Mount Everest. However, with constant determination I moved to New York to be accepted in this industry, and be who I am. I started this journey with my Associates in Fashion Design, and later proceeded with the concentration Special Occasions for my bachelors at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

Being in FIT taught me that the fabulous dresses that make it to the runway have to go through the process of 100s of hours of craftsmanship which includes, draping, pattern making, sewing, and computer skills. Today I can say that I'm glad that I have honed those skills, and I'm looking forward to learn more.
